Command And Control During Emergency

Based on the scenario in the assignment where an incident presss head at a national football league game. In the scenario it says that I am an on scene supervisory program for the city police department, with this said once the incident is pickings place I feel that I must take initiative and take command of the situation. First I would plant my command of the situation, let everyone know I am in charge. Secondly I would put to use the emergency rejoinder checklist. Containing the situation ensures the crisis does not escalate beyond police mince or resources (Peak162). Communicating to higher headquarters and other responding personnel department is a first priority (Peak 162). Coordinating of the operations pickings place, logistical needs becomes a priority(Peak 162).controlling all that is freeing on is very important, personnel and equipment are deployed to the incident. The three preceding elements should be implemented before any response is try (Peak 162).




Although I am implementing all of these the agency I would skirt upon, or one of the first agencies I would call would be the federal official Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). Strictly because FEMA has a protocol for a biological terrorist attacks like the one victorious place at the National Football League Game, pickings the responsibility as commander of the situation until they arrive as well as helping them to the best of my abilities when they do. FEMA would have a better grasp of what needs to be done in a situation such as this one.
