Niccoló Machiavelli was born on May 3, 1469 in Florence, Italy. He died at the age of 58 on June 21, 1527. During those fifty eight years he get hitched with Marietta Corsini and had four sons, dickens daughters, and one grandson.
In his lifetime he focused his studies in political science and viewed political relation in a new way. Machiavelli did most of his work in Italy. farthermost in his lifetime he wrote the Prince which was one of his most favorite books. In addition to his book the Prince he wrote Discourses upon the First cardinal books of Livy, and Art of War. He was also appointed secretary of the number highest governing body in the Republic of Florence. While he was secretary he organized a militia for the republic.
In Machiavellis lifetime, he had many connections to other movers and shakers. He had a connection to pontiff Clement the seventh. Machiavelli inspected the fortifications of Florence for the Pope. In addition to Pope Clement the seventh he was colleagues with Francesco Guicciardini.
Machiavelli was employed by Guicciardini for two minor diplomatic missions.
Machiavelli definitely changed the way society runs today. Machiavelli viewed politics in a new way from other movers and shakers. 19th century liberalism was based on his ideas. Some of his values were, for instance, to confide citizens power and to have a republic instead of a monarchy. These views are still used in todays society. His views did not inspire the people in England. In England Machiavelli is thinking to be evil because of his strong views.
